Supporting the establishment of new economic activities and building business knowledge and skills on the rural development of the agro-forestry sector in the Municipality of Hani i Elezit

In early July, the Laboratory for Business Activities- LAB announced a public Call for Expression of Interest regarding the establishment of 16 new economic activities in the agro-forestry sector in the Municipality of Hani i Elezit 115 persons have expressed the interest to apply, (21 for greenhouses, 15 for raspberry, 5 for strawberry, 54 for bees, 14 for livestock, 6 for vineyards.) while 56 have applied (7 for greenhouses, 8 for raspberry, 3 for strawberry, 29 for bees, 5 for livestock, 4 for vineyards).
On August 3rd, 6th and 7th, the Commission consisting of the representatives from the Business Activities Laboratory (LAB), Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (DAFRD) in Hani i Elezit and two experts of the relevant fields from the Initiative for Agriculture Development of Kosovo (IADK) has reviewed the applications and carried out the field inspections. Applications review and assessment as well as the selection of beneficiaries will be made in accordance with the criteria established by the Commission and for all sectors. The final list will be published based on the results thereof.
